Delete your InReality account

You can delete your account without installing the app again.

In the app. Settings, then delete account. This works for a signed-in account and for a guest session on that device.

Without the app. Email support@inreality.io from the address on the account. Subject: "Account deletion request". We delete the account tied to that address. Guest data that was never upgraded to an account lives on the device; deleting it needs the app, or a factory reset of that device.

We complete a verified request within one month.

What we delete

• Your login, including the email and password.
• Photos and videos stored for you, the manifest stored with each one, the renditions we made, the feature data we stored for them, and the sealed copy of the signed file.
• Share links you created. Those links stop opening.

We mark each deleted capture's record as deleted.

What we keep for 12 months

• Records of actions on the account, with your identity removed.
• Device registrations, marked revoked.
• Records that a share link existed, marked revoked. The link does not open.
• A guest-session record marked destroyed, with the login removed.

A copy of deleted data may remain in backups for up to 7 days.

What we cannot delete

Files you exported or shared, and copies a recipient saved. The signed record inside those copies, including location, cannot be changed.

Deletion does not uninstall the app. After deletion the app starts a new empty guest session.
